Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

MediCollect Diagnostics (“MediCollect”, “we”, “us”) provides diagnostic test booking, home sample collection and doctor consultation services. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Identity and contact details — name, age, gender, mobile number, email address and collection address.
  • Health information — the tests or health packages you book, the specialty you consult, symptoms you describe, and the reports generated for you.
  • Optional identifiers — ABHA ID, patient code, or a government ID number, only where you choose to provide them.
  • Payment information — payment status and the reference number of a transaction. Card and bank credentials are handled by our payment gateway and are never stored on our servers.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to confirm and fulfil your booking, dispatch a phlebotomist for home collection, schedule your consultation, deliver reports and prescriptions, process payments and refunds, and send you booking updates by SMS, WhatsApp or email. We also use aggregated, non-identifying data to understand demand and improve our service.

3. Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, and only with: the NABL-accredited partner laboratory processing your sample; the doctor you have booked a consultation with; our payment gateway and communication providers; and government or regulatory authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal or health information, and we do not share it for advertising.

4. How we protect it

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access restricted to authorised staff. Reports and uploaded documents are held in access-controlled storage. While no system can be guaranteed completely secure, we review our safeguards regularly.

5. How long we keep it

Booking and diagnostic records are retained for as long as required under applicable medical record-keeping rules, after which they are deleted or anonymised. You may ask us to delete information that we are not legally required to retain.

6. Your rights

You may request access to the information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, request deletion where permitted, or withdraw consent for non-essential messages at any time. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember a booking you have partly completed, so you do not lose your progress. These are essential to the service and are not used to track you across other websites.

8. Contact us

For any privacy question or request, call 8951013085. We aim to respond to every request within 30 days.

We may update this policy as our services change. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
